An overview of events in 2009 and proposals for 2010

 

Save energy, save money and help the environment with a free Home Energy-Saving Kit.

 

The kit includes three faucet aerators and a low-flow showerhead to help you save energy and water. These devices allow air to enter into the water stream, maintaining a high-pressure flow while reducing water usage.

 

Actual water use dropped by 17% from 2008 to 2009 for the billing period of mid-June to mid-August, and 27% for the billing period of mid-August to mid-October.  A total of 1,395,026 gallons and 2,104,124 gallons were reduced, respectively. 

 

Our "Living Landscape" plan is growing. The installation of our new drip irrigation system will begin in August at our new test building.
