With the state of California implementing various COVID-19 phases to open up public areas, and the summer heat making its presence known, one cannot help but wonder when the pools at Casablanca are going to be available for use. The unfortunate answer is that we do not know. Currently, community pools that are accessible to 3 or more family units have been ordered closed by the state of California. As a community association, Casablanca answers not only to the state of California, but also to the county and city of San Diego. When these government entities authorize the opening of community pools, the Board of Directors will act promptly to evaluate the conditions and, when appropriate, re-open the pools.
